Hash Generator: MD5, SHA & HMAC

Type or paste text, or choose a file, to see its MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384 and SHA-512 hashes update as you go. Switch on HMAC and enter a secret key to get keyed digests instead. Results can be shown as hex (lower or upper case) or Base64, and each one has its own copy button. SHA hashes use your browser’s Web Crypto API, MD5 uses a small built-in implementation, and files are read locally: nothing is sent to a server. MD5 and SHA-1 are fine for checksums but are broken for security purposes; prefer SHA-256 or stronger.
